Actually these area a few pictures from what started out to be a service call to repair a few minor violations that a homeowner had. Turned out the towns building departments electrical, fire inspectors were already involved. This was a 2 family house, the basement alone had 29 j-boxes with everything from knob and tube, stranded wire and zip cord coming out with floating spices outside the boxes. these fed the 2 upper floors and a detatched garage 75 ft away. End result was house red taged tenants removed. 100% rewire and new service

Once again a reason why I HATE FOAM!!!!!!
That stuff is awful, poisonous and of absolutely no use. Windows fastened with foam will in case of a fire just fall out into the street and vent the room even better.
Some months ago a fllor guy tried to jack our floor with that stuff (didn't have our permission to do that). Result was: Floor didn'T sag any more but protruded 1/4". And green foam came up through the gaps of the red oak boards. Floor guy: "But you won't see this after you sand the floor!". -> Rip everything out and redo the floor properly. AAAARGHHHH!

Ron,
Good. In the original post you say "my fan" so I assumed that this was in a house that you had just moved into.

You know what happens when you ass u me.
