I just about choked on my burger when I looked up. This is screwed to the aluminum frame of a glass wall at about 7' AFF. Plugs in (2 wire zip cord) to recp, and runs "Open" sign mounted below. Secondary terminals are bare (at 4000V). One side has a piece of #12 twisted to the HiV cable to lengthen it.

Neat, huh?

Hi, Scott;

Cool! It looks like the HV wires are nicely frayed in a couple of places, too. I imagine the zip cord is fairly crispy.

Does anything else light up besides the sign? [Linked Image]

hey all I'm pretty new at this. In fact still going to school for Air force electrician. but I really appreciate all the pics to show the guys in class what not to do. especially the ones that are over 120 cause most of these kids have got bit already and they think that they are tough and can take it. I'm just there to make them realize how bad it is and photo's truly speak a thousand words cause I've been scarin the cr@p outa most of them with pics form this message board. thanks again and keep on goin maybe one day I'll be out in the civilian world earnin those big bucks (-:
