Does anyone have the NFPA version of the NEC handbook on CD ROM? I was noticing it has the 2002 and the 1999 version with it. Does it have a complete version of both codes on the disk? Seems to good to be true check it out, or am I missing somthing

INTRODUCTION

The 2002 NECH CD contains the full text, including tables and graphics, of the 2002 National Electrical Code (Code) and explanatory material (commentary).

In addition, the complete text of the 1999 National Electrical CodeĀ® is provided for reference.

An Adobe Acrobat version of the 2002 and 1999 editions of the Code is included to permit viewing and printing Code material as it appears in the paper edition.

The 2002 National Electrical Code Handbook is made up of an introduction and nine chapters, as well as six nonmandatory annexes included for informational purposes only.

The explanatory commentary accompanying the Code follows the Code text it discusses and is easily identified by gray shading.

The text of the 2002 National Electrical Code and 1999 National Electrical Code may be accessed through the Table of Contents or by searching.

I ordered the NEC Handbook on CD and it just came yesterday. I haven't had much time to play with it, but I like what I've seen so far. If you've got a big enough hard drive it allows you to load the enire disk on your hard drive so you don't have to insert the disk every time you want to look something up. You can highlight sections and print out or cut and paste as need. I think it's well worth the cost(I paid $139). If it has the 1999 on it I wasn't aware of it, but nice bonus.
