Guys,
I was at a Fire Call today and for once I had my camera with me.
Here is the first of a few pics:

I was the pump operator/driver at this call and I had time to have a good look at this.
The wires under that tape are live at 400VAC.

Next along the line is this:

Total lack of support, sure PVC is good, but it shouldn't mean you never have to support it.

Next is this, between the two buildings:

No support whatsoever!.

Lastly, here is one other I snapped from the same building, don't get me wrong, there is some very nice PVC work in this building, but later on they had idiots doing the work there, as the pic below would suggest, check out the TPS cable coming out of the 20mm PVC conduit:

Wow Trumpy I wouldn't like to be using a garden hose around the j-box in the first picture !

Why is there 400v at that j-box ?

It looks like a school, which makes this kind of shenanigans worse.

( sorry for using the old shenanigans word, but its the best I could think of without resorting to profanity) [Linked Image]

From what I can gather, that circuit was an old Aircon circuit for the upstairs part of the building, the upstairs now has a ducted system and the condenser unit is now on the roof.
For some strange reason, the A/C guys never removed the old wiring.

Actually, it's a commercial building, upstairs is a law firm and downstairs is a Real Estate agents (what a combination!).

That's not a junction box, it's a conduit tee, you aren't allowed to make joints in them, not that there is a lot of room to do so anyway. [Linked Image]
One thing I never noticed when I snapped these pics though and I've gone back since to have a look, is in the second pic, above that metal junction box, you'll see a pipe protruding from the wall, that's a hot water cylinder overflow pipe.
All that wall and they had to put the box there!.
Unreal. [Linked Image]
