Problems? Oh I don't know... maybe they were trying to heat things up a bit. Wait.. I thought a cooler was supposed to keep things cold.

Did this cooler room have alot of exposed conduct pipes ? if so how they did cover it and also with additional insulating materal add on somehow it can make it more diffucultay to remove the lumiaire globe to replace bulb.

the other thing is if any other j-box there it they did cover it up that is one heck good code volitation there

Hi Marc...
This building owner was getting a hard time from the health department about the rust on the cooler walls. The solution, use prefabricated fiberglass insulation panels to cover up the walls.

The only problem, they covered up everything including the rust.

Although it is not easy to tell from the dark photo, around that fixture they decided to spray urethane foam insulation around the globe to really seal in the gap.

Tough to change the bulb... I'd say that's an understatement! [Linked Image]
