In addition to the obvious, is that a power limited FA circuit in the same raceway as (what appears to be) a non power limitted FA circuit?

There is a thread in the V-D-V forum ("Do alarm wires require connectors?") that shows very similar work.

I posted that pic there, hoping to get a discussion going- because this is all to typical an installation!

Unlike regular electrical work, this mess can safely be laid upon the "professionals." The maintenance guy just isn't likely to play with the alarm wires!
