You usually use them to float around in your pool, for plugging in the television you have on the raft in the pool.

Unfortunately, this thing was for real. As Joe will vouch, it was in use by a Darwin Award candidate to watch his portable TV while in the pool!!

I have seen that a couple of times but didnt know it was specialized for in pool use,,, very clever. Did Joe check to make sure it had a 3 wire cord? Seeing how he did such a fine job with that maybe he could come up with something for washing out his kitchen appliances in the shower, the toaster, maybe even the cocktail blender.
