I have a customer that wants a service installed in a shed that he uses for storage and some machancal work in a non permament Shed I am trying to figure out what to classifie this building as. The meter base will go on a pole and dip into the building under ground. I am wondering if I would need a disconnect on the pole as well as a main breaker combination panel. Just having problems as to what code section i should be looking at.

Thanks

Well called the inspector this morning and no disconnect is required.

Hey Doug,
Why was this not taken off as a Sub-Main from the house?
Assuming there is a house nearby that is owned by the guy?
