1. Amendment No. 1 - As a result of a Association vote, accept Comment 2-91 on Section 210.12(B).

This comment failed to achieve the required NEC Panel and TCC vote, which will result in return to previous edition text, if any.

2. Amendment No. 2- As a result of an appeal, Comment 3-157 on Section 725.6 failed to achieve the required NEC Panel and TCC vote, which will result in returning to previous edition text, if any.

3. Amendment No. 3- As a result of an appeal, Comment 3-520 on Section 760.6 failed to achieve the required NEC Panel and TCC vote, which will result in returning to previous edition text, if any.

4. Amendment No. 4- As a result of an appeal, return an Identifiable Part (the words “and in other locations and conditions not prohibited by 320.12 or elsewhere in the code”) of Comment 7-14a and Proposal 7-8. This Comment achieved support of the NEC Panel and TCC.

5. Amendment No. 5- As a result of an appeal, return an Identifiable Part (the words “and in other locations and conditions not prohibited by 330.12 or elsewhere in the code”) of Comment 7-60a and Proposal 7-55. This Comment achieved support of the NEC Panel and TCC.

6. Amendment No. 6- As a result of an appeal, return an Identifiable Part (the words “and secured”) of Comment 7-67 and Proposal
7-73. This Comment achieved support of the NEC Panel and TCC.

7. Amendment No. 7 - As a result of an appeal, return an Identifiable Part (the words “and in other locations and conditions not prohibited by 332.12 or elsewhere in the code”) of Comment 7-75a and Proposal 7-86. This Comment achieved support of the NEC Panel and TCC.

8. Amendment No. 8 - As a result of an appeal, return an Identifiable Part of Section 409.106 of Comment 11-3a and Proposal 11-5. This Comment achieved support of the NEC Panel and TCC.

9. Amendment No. 9 - As a result of the NEC Panel and TCC vote, overturn Association action and return Comment 16-11 of Section 770.2. This will result in returning text to previous edition text, if any.

10. Amendment No. 10 - As a result of the NEC Panel and TCC vote, overturn Association action and return Comment 16-109 of Section 770.51. This will result in returning text to previous edition
text, if any.

18. Amendment No. 18 - As a result of Association action, accept Comment 18-107 on Section 600 Part II and Section 600.30. This amendment failed to achieve support from the NEC Panel and TCC. This will result in returning text to previous edition text, if any.

19. Amendment No. 19 - As a result of Association action, accept Comment 18-110 on Section 600.32(g). This amendment failed to achieve support from the NEC Panel and TCC. This will result in returning to previous edition text, if any.

20. Amendment No. 20 - As a result of Association action, reject Comment 13-49 and Comment 13-50 on Section 695.3(A)(2).

21. Amendment No. 21 - As a result of an appeal, accept Comment 18-12a on Section 406.4(D). This will result in permitting the use of certain listed non-metallic faceplates.

22. Amendment No. 22 - On recommendation of the NEC TCC, as an editorial correction, delete sub-item 250.21(4) instead of sub-item 250.21(5) based on the substantiation of Proposal 6-61.

23. Amendment No. 23 - As a result of an editorial correction recommended by the NEC TCC, delete the word “circuit” in Section 250.32(B)(2) as shown in the recommendations of Comments 5-65 and 5-66 based on the CMP action on Proposal 5-65.

24. Amendment No. 24 - On recommendation of the NEC TCC, delete Section 250.147 as it did not correlate with Section 404.9 per the direction of the TCC in their action on Proposal 5-244a.

25. Amendment No. 25 - As a result of an editorial correction recommended by the NEC TCC, retain all occurrences of the term “polarity” in Section 310.4 as recommended in Proposal 6-7.

26. Amendment No. 26 - As a result of an editorial correction recommended by the NEC TCC, delete the “s” from “Systems” in the term “Photovoltaic Systems Voltage” in Section 690.7(C), recommended
by Proposal 13-43, to correlate with the action taken on Comment 13-30.

27. Amendment No. 27 - As a result of an editorial correction recommended by the NEC TCC, revise a portion of the fourth paragraph of Section 700.12 to read 700.12(a) through 700.12(E) to correlate with the addition of new subparagraph 700.12(E) recommended by Proposal 13-128.

27. Amendment No. 27 - As a result of an editorial correction recommended by the NEC TCC, return the articles 770, 800, and 820 cable and wire marking requirements to their location in the 2002 NEC as Proposals 16-25, 16-101, and 16-154 did not provide instruction on where these requirements were to be located. Per Comment 16-9 these 2002 NEC sections are renumbered as follows:

770.113 Installation and Marking of Listed Optical Fiber Cables

800.113 Installation and Marking of Communication Wires and Cables

820.113 Installation and Marking of Coaxial Cables

28. Amendment No. 28 - As a result of an editorial correction recommended by the NEC TCC, add a separate section for the listing requirements of CATV raceways as follows: 820.182 CATV Raceways. CATV Raceways shall be listed in accordance with 820.182(A) through 820.182(C). (A) Plenum CATV Raceways. (B) Riser CATV Raceways. (C) General-Purpose CATV Raceways.

29. Amendment No. 29 - As a result of the issuance of a Tentative Interim Amendment, revise Section 604.6(a)(1) to read: (1) Cables. Cable shall be listed Type AC cable or listed Type MC Cable containing nominal 600 volt 8 to 12 AWG insulated copper conductors with a bare or insulated copper equipment grounding conductor equivalent in size to the ungrounded conductor..(remainder of this section to be unchanged).
