I am installing pneumatic lift tables for raw materials on a plant floor. I need to get 120VAC (20 Amp circuit) to the lift table to power the pump motor and the up/down controls. It has been requested that these tables be removable.

We are not willing to pay for installing conduits underground. As the tables must be removable, it has been requested that any conduit coming down from up above be flexible with a plug-in connector so we can unplug the table and tie the flexible conduit up overhead in order to clear room for forktrucks that occasionally need to go through this area during projects.

I am basically considering running RMC overhead (12-15 feet up) until it 90's downward, at which point it will become flexible metallic conduit (sealtight) or flexible nonmetallic conduit (corr-lock) with a plug near the ground. Are there any code violations described in this plan?

Thanks,
