ShockMe77, currently there is no penalty if you work without certification and never claim that you are certified. The only penalty is if you claim to be certified and are not.

17,000 have passed over the past 3 years. Which is actually high because its been so long some people that have taken it are no longer in the field such as myself. Estimates place the number of electricians between 60,000-100,000 in the state. At most, less than 1/3 have passed the test.

DAS has delayed, stated there will be no more delays, delayed, stated there will be no more delays, delayed, stated there will be no more delays, now they delay again by saying, "Well if you have your application in your are ok."

Give me a break.
