My question is in regards to the lenght of a whip from a disconnect means to the unit ie as for a res. ac unit the disconnect is mounted to the home what is the length the carflex etc can be from that disconnect to the unit befor it is no longer leagal and has to be piped? Alittle long winded sorry bout that. I have been advised no longer the 6' please be spec. and state a code ref.# if poss
