Just curious if any linemen out there could give me an answer for this one:
Had a brownout the other day that lasted a couple of hours. It affected a couple of city blocks and both legs of my service were reading ±40V to ground.
I heard an expulsion fuse go just before the brownout occured, but I can't figure how that would account for a partial loss in power.
Anyone know? Thanks.
