Cool info!!! Thanks for the heads up and the link! You find a lot of interesting things out there in HTTP / HTML land [AKA Hyperspace]. I usually get lost in Hyperspace when searching for stuff! But that's most of the fun!

Looks to be very thinly sliced Carbon-Zinc cells, since the Zinc was mentioned and the voltage is "Around 1.5 VDC"

A typical "AA" Carbon-Zinc cell, or Alkaline cell, will have a rating of 1000 - 1500 mAH [milli Amp-Hours], so I would imagine one "Slice" of the printed Cell would be able to produce 0.5 - 1.0 mAH.
Connected in Parallel [to form a Battery] would increase the rating.

Even with the low ratings, they would be very useful on LCD stuff!
LCD displays [pardon the redundant use of the word 'Display" [Linked Image]] draw micro to pico amperes, do to the fact that they function by field effect instead of current flows [the segments of the LCD readouts are "Mirrored" by a Voltage, rather than by current flows - kind of similar to FETs].
