Your normal stuff. 2 wires w/strands cut off in each lug, etc. (that CØ load wire is gray). with a special twist on this installation. There were 4 individual saws and a dustcollector connected, each with its own EXO & Mag Starter. The T1 terminals in the mags of all the saws were jumpered together, and 1 wire was run to the coil of the duster's mag to make it run when any saw was turned on, (other side of 480 coil went to line in duster mag)
Bottom Line: You turned off a disconnect to change a motor. You tested the power & it was off. While your working, someone turned on another saw 100' away, and your AØ motor lead was instantly 277 to ground, because it was being fed by a totally different source. You never got a chance to figure out what happened.
(but fortunately we fixed it first)
