Nothing that a 12" blade in a SawsAll can't correct really quick. After the cutting, a few 3" & 4" Fernco Caps will get someones attention.

A Customer of mine had a similar situation where the Heating Guys installed piping from the Boiler across the front of the panel. After seeing the picture posted here they agreed to come and reroute the pipes.

If I can find the original photo I posted I'll include it here.
Anyway, the point of it was.. making the Violation public can be used as leverage against the offending installer to make things right.
It worked in that case.

That sounds frustrating but I'm glad the heating guys were willing to make it right! I had a customer run into a similar situation where the heating team ran piping from the boiler right across the front of the electrical panel. It took some back-and-forth, but after showing them a photo, they agreed to come back and reroute everything. It’s always good to have tradespeople who can see the problem and fix it without too much hassle.
By the way, if anyone here is looking for electrical engineer jobs near you, I've noticed that local opportunities have been popping up lately—might be worth checking out!
