Hoist Pendant Switch

The proper pendant had "a problem" with the switch.

This was the maintenance guy's fix for it. An SPDT Center Off rocker switch.

Man, is that classy or what?

I take it that there was a proper industrial rated pendant on the end of that cable?

I was under the impression you had to use momentary switches on hoists.

Also, duct tape will conduct electricity given the right conditions (temperature/humidity).

Did this guy just put a direct replacement in the "too hard" basket?

BTW, I love the wire nut end sticking out through the tape, it just sets the whole thing off!
