Part of a building I am doing now is going to have a remote building that is for fueling, washing and lubing trucks. The fuel is diesel (no gasoline) and the maintenance procedures performed will be washing, greasing fittings, and changing oil. As far as I know right now there will not be major mechanical work done here. The pressure washing system has a recycling system to filter and reuse all the water. The Islands for the truck maintenance will be outside. The only purpose for the building is to house the pressure washing system, and oil recycling system. (And various other systems)
Now, my question;
What code sections will this fall under? It looks to me to be exempt from article 511 because no major repair work is being done. It looks to fall under article 514. My only question is the fact that it is diesel fuel. Does this make any difference? Is there anything else to watch out for?
