Ran a new circuit 20 amp for washer,is there any code stating that it must be a dedicted circuit. Thanks Also how about the 220 and 120 volt wires being taped together for about half the run to a pvc pipe. Is this considered bundling.

210.11(C)(2):

I read 210-11(C)2 as requiring a dedicated circuit for the laundry outlet(s) but 210-52(F) says you can have more than one outlet on this circuit. It just can't leave the laundry area.

If you have a laundry sink within six feet of the edge the dedicated laundry circuit(210.11(C)(2) has to be GFCI protected. 210.8(7).

gfci for the washer only if it is a duplex. It should be a single receptacle. Then it is a fixed appliance? And they won't have to call me to reset GFCI when it tripps [Linked Image]

There is no relief for a single appliance if the receptacle is within 6' of the sink.

Taped together for more than 2' is "bundled" but if you are using a 90c conductor you are still within the ampacity when you derate to 80%.

There is no sink, just a washer and dryer. They want to use the duplex that is on the washer for a mini fridge and exhaust fan for the bathroom in the next room.

The wires that are taped together are #10-3 romex and #12-2 romex.

No dice on the exhaust fan and fridge in the next room. The circuit can't leave the laundry area or room for anything.
