No, however i did notice the shallow (1/4") ones have more holes....

You mean the extra holes where us old...."geezers" used to actually nail them up to the plaster lathe alone as phone outlets?

They were also used horizontally to mount the 24 volt switches in the old GE systems, etc.. so they made sure we had some how to nail 'em to whatever we used for support. ....Kids!!
