Wondering if anyone knows of any sites where there is a library of generic control panel schematics to make design and build easier. I’m also looking for control panel wire color code standards. Typically here in Canada you can wire a control panel using any color wire you like and it seems to make troubleshooting a major chore if not wire numbered. I just saw a panel where the neutral (coil) of an eight-pin relay was red and terminated to the green panel ground wire? This is a combination/starter with a grounded Xformer system as well with the neutral grounded at x2. Next to this is another combo/starter and it would seem that the neutral from another system has been brought into the panel and terminated at x2, which is not grounded. I have three panels running three identical machines and all are wired differently. I’ve completed the first panel and await inspection. Any thoughts would be appreciated thanks.
