these pieces have appeared sporadically, over a long period of time. This always makes watching for new ones more fun, because you never know when or where that next one is going to pop up.

Lostazhell, your friend is right about that. I live several miles away from there and I always look for new "guest appearances" while passing the utility poles. It's been going on for many years now. Definitely a more interesting sight than the fake tree/cell phone antennae around.
