Just a little welcoming note to all you people that are sitting on the out-skirts of ECN or have logged into the Chat area and don't know where to go from here.
Look, we were all in this situation, at one time, we just want a bigger skills pool to work from.
Also, I want to dispel a myth that has been circulating in the Chat room.
You are allowed to post as a Member, in any Area that you like, provided that it fits the bill.
The exception to the rule is the Technical Reference Area, this is Moderated by Scott35, but if you post in the Electrical Theory And Applications Area, you're sure to get a response.
If you come from outside of the US, PaulUK has a really good forum to meet your needs.
Obviously you have made it to the General Discussion Area, have a real good look around!.
Cheers,
Trumpy

Well put Trumpy.

This is a friendly forum, no slamming, flaming etc.

Ask a question and you should get an answer, no judgments.

Hey Bob,
Say this one to yourself in a Homer Simpson Voice:
And that's all that really matters.

Yes, please jump in and tell us about yourself!

We are all here to learn from each other, and no one is discriminated against for any legitamite questions
(only people asking how to steal power, or do something dangerous or with intentions to harm another person get flamed!)
(BTW: "Flamed" = Replied with anger)

At times we may use some terms which could be questionable to the newer members. In this case, please check for the "ECN Glossary", which can be found at the Technical Reference Section here at ECN.
It is located "Between" the Electrical Theory and Applications area, and the Re: Computers and the Internet area.

Have fun here! We discuss serious stuff, and non-serious stuff.
Flames are very minimal here - which may not be said of other Forums

Thanks for joining us!

Scott35
