I see your point, Joe. There are some GREAT photos at the site showing failed small guage aluminum terminations, both in wirenuts and at devices.

There are also great photos of COPALUMĀ® pigtailing.

Years ago when this process first hit the market, we had a few local contractors, give it a try, one of these guys stopped by my home one evening, and asked me if i had any ideas on how he could get the crimper in the box to grab the short length wires, and then, after he got them crimped how would he get all that to fit back in the box.
All i could think, was better him then me.
