Try this site, it has a free program that I've been using for the last 8-9 months and I haven't had a problem with pop-ups since!.
Hope this helps.
BTW, click on Products and scroll down until you come to Pop-up Stopper Free Edition.

Google also has a popup blocker that installs with their toolbar (free).
Also, if you are using Windows XP, you can disable the Windows Messenger and all the grey boxes will quit coming up.

The PanicWare software really works! The only problem is you sometimes have to disable it on some sites or you can't pull up some items (it blocks them).

The Google toolbar did nothing for me.

Norton internet security got rid of all ads on website pages. I never see a banner ad.

Trumpy and Electric Eagle.

Thanks for the links to panicware, I installed it and went to some sites that have annoying pop ups.

Panicware seemed to take care of them all, Thank you!
