What type of lamp socket is this I took it to home depot and they had no idea what I need for this bulb to plug into. What is the socket called and where can I get one Thanks.

WizKid I would go to the Leviton Web site.

They should have what you are looking for, two pin compact florescent socket.

Get the part number from the Leviton Web site and take that number to a real electrical supply house. The Orange box is good for somethings but they do not stock everything.
