Thinkgood,

i think that lamps great, allbeit a bit odd, would you want to be bathed in a blue tinge on leaving a building ?

there sales pitch is good as well, slating the self contained emergency lights we all fit all over the world.

but then again its just sales patter in the end, have you seen any of these in use anywere ? if so do they do what they say?

i would be intrigued to know.

I haven't actually seen any in use--I saw the link and wanted to share it.

That blue is a bit strange looking. Most glow-in-the-dark objects I've seen have a green glow.

It sure would be better than no light at all. I still like to always have a flashlight on hand!
