I don't know if this is the right place to post about inverters. If not, please advice.

I want to make a backup plan for my gaming consoles that runs for at less 5 hours using inverter/charger and maintenance free batteries. I will be connecting PS4(150 watt approx.) or ps3(100 watt approx.) + LED TV(110 watt approx) + 5 LED lights.

What I am planning to have is an inverter/charger (2000 watt) with two maintenance free batteries (150 Amps each).

Is this enough to run 5 hours?? and how much time will it take to be fully charged??
Please advice if there is a better solution. Am new at this, so please be patient. And thanks in advance.

Theoretically it looks good but YMMV
300 A/H of battery @ 12v = 3.6KVA
300 watt hours of load x 5 = 1.5KVA


I have never seen one of these UPS deals that actually approached the theoretical time they should run. There is some loss in the inverter and you really need to know what the discharge rate was used to get the 150 A/H for the battery

Battery Amp-Hour ratings are usually determined by the 20 hour discharge curve.

I believe for a 5 hour discharge, you should derate to 70%.

You may want to set up the UPS with the intended load and measure the actual current draw of the system.
