I've done one 30 amp for a Leaf or maybe it was a Prius, and one 100 amp for a Tesla. The Tesla was an incredible car and lucky for us the owner did enjoy showing it off.

I have seen only 2 or 3 car chargers in my towns. I believe they both took a 40 amp feeder and the other hasn't been inspected yet.

I installed a 50amp outlet for a Tesla owner that I do Scouts with. I agree with BigB, he was happy to show it off and I and my helper were happy to check it out.

It makes me wonder how many get installed without a permit.

There is a job in review (zoning/plan board) for a bank of eight (8) Tesla HD chargers at the 'mall'. I do not have all the info yet, but it sounds like a 'Tesla' backed thing.

There is also talk of installing two (2) in the Twp Bldg parking lot. 7KW range each, CheckPoint, swipe & charge.
(2x40 amp, 208-240, 1 phase)

Yes, there may be 'some' without permits. I inspected a Tesla 100/90 amp unit in a SFD for a Tesla S; he was also happy to show it off. Nice!!!
