The best move may be to call & talk to the Cinnaminson Electrical Inspector, and get his opinion.

On existing structures in NJ (by UCC Regs) unless the condition is deemed unsafe, no official actions can be taken by the UCC Inspectors on any work that was approved when it was installed.

I'm not sure what utility co is in Cinnaminson, but up where I work PSE&G inspectors send the homeowner a letter requiring replacement within xx days, or power being disconnected.
