I have seen worse, at least they didnt just run romex up the wall to the light.

We don't know what is inside that plastic pipe. My guess would be a piece of RX wire. However without opening it up we would be guessing.

At least the plumbing pipe is rated for a 'wet location'.

Looks like the brick below is new and the verticle laid row above is original(older) so I wonder how the box was extended through new brick from what looks like original sconce placement..looks remuddled to me, chris
