Lightolier...Calculite CFL available with dimmable ballast option, requires a 'sec' dimmer...Lutron...Special Order item probably

Try this link...http://www.lightolier.com/MKACatpdfs/S7142BU.PDF

Hope this helps

~s~:
Knowledge of lighting sometimes can be priceless.....

Lightolier usually has 'current' items
It's the 'architectural' series, not something usually found in resi type suppliers, and def not 'Big Box'

Glad I could assist ya guy!!

Given the current state of hype, I'd rather risk it all on an ordinary can with an LED bulb in it.

Local sparky mentioned today at chain convenience store coffee pot..."just installed 12 (twelve) LED R40 style flood bulbs in the exterior recess cans".
My comment....'how much'?....he shows me the paperwork....$1975.00 installed, plus sales tax @ 7%.

Almost dropped my 16oz coffee!

Greg: I'm going to crunch some numbers on ROI/payback on this vs CFL self ballasted, vs what I refer to as 'real' CFL fixtures w/lamps in the next few days.

the Green machine HotOne

for instance, the customer (in my case here in Vermont) can only get a rebate if it's a dedicated fluoresant , not one that can take a screw in CFL

oh and, i'd be interested in your cost/benny findings, it seems that does sell a lot of retrofits

i'm not proud when i'm hungry! smile

We had the same situation here on rebates, which I believe are out of state funds, and the POCO is having empty pocket syndrome too.

If you didn't commit to Lightolier yet, you may give Ruud Ltg a try, I'm not sure if they have the dimming option, but they are def a lot less $$$
