Could someone please give me some info on obtaining an electrical license from the state or county of Indiana preferably in the South Bend area.
Is the test given using PSI or Expedia or does it differ from county to county?
Is it open or closed book?
When are the test usualy held?
Any info will be apreciated.

I don't believe that Indiana has a state-wide license at this time. Counties and cities are a different story.

My advice would be to call the county/city you plan to work and get it from the "officials".

Illinois is looking state-wide, but not quite there yet.

Indiana does not have a state license, they leave it up to the county & city ,, as Steve mentioned it would be best to check with the county & city your planning to work in ,,, also experior online shows they serve South Bend www.experioronline.com/inconstruction.htm

Thanks for the info. I've called the city of South Bend and they are sending me the necessary paperwork to register.
