Anyone know where, or how to trademark slogans, names, logos and such for business?

Any ideas on cost and time, too?

Dnk,

You can do it at the below site.
Costs $325 and I think this is good for 10 years. Takes at least 6 months. I filed in March and I'm still waiting for it to be processed. http://www.uspto.gov/

Dnk,
Don't forget to trademark your name with the state you work in also. In Maryland, it is $50 and good for 10 years.

Thanks for answering......

Anyone have any idea, maybe, who would handle doing this for me? Like, would a marketing firm do this, or should a lawyer get involved?

A-line, I guess you did yours yourself?

Did you have any complications/advise when filling out the forms. Really, any advise on it would be helpful.

Thanks again......

Dnk,

Yes I did mine myself. It was very easy to do. All the info you need is on their website. You can look at some other electrical companies trademarks on the site to get some ideas for information to put on the forms. Like Pat said you can also register with your state. The fee for my state is $20.
