Thought this may be of interest to some of you...follow the link below for the artcile and photos. Very sad story due to the very basic of electrical safety elements not being followed/maintained!!!!!!

I've wondered why GFCI protection is only required within 20 feet of the pool. If it is within the same room, (likely with a tile over concrete floor - often wet) don't the same hazards exist at 25 feet away?
