'Owdoo everyone!

Just thought I'd say 'hi'. Been reading the forums for months and decided to register at last! I find it very interesting to see other's perspectives on 'lectrics around the world! Same ol' stuff...same ol' problems!

I'm from up North...UK Lake District to be precise. Been practicing for nigh on twenty years...mainly domestic and commercial. usual stuff...

I look forward to joining in some threads once I get my head around it all and bring myself to stop looking at the photos all the time

Good to be part of it all.

Hi John, and welcome to ECN. Nice scenic part of the country you live in, if a little damp at times!

Yes, it's amazing how despite the different wiring methods some problems seem to crop up just about everywhere.
