A new garage is being built. The owner ran some conduit (I am unsure of the material make-up of the conduit at this time) through the foundation of the house and it protrudes about eight inches outside of the house and is about five inches above the ground! On top of that (literally) they built a deck on that side of the house which is about eight feet out from where the conduit exits the foundation. My question is this: since trenching is going to be very tricky under a built porch, what are my code-friendly options? Should I just make a new trench somewhere else along the foundation and put in another exit point?
