Do you guys use electical tape around switches and outlets. I use .003 thickness alttle thicker than normal but a very nice job it does.

On a Cut-in box, yes...otherwise no.

Last shop I was in some guy spread a rumor about it being required, and everyone had done it for years. Some had even started using colors to differentiate who had done what, "Nope, wasn't me, not my color!"
