Yeah, that site got hacked into. Lot's of strange things. For example, every time you type the word "electric", it comes out as "zappy".

It's just amazing that some idiot would want to inflict that sort of damage on someone elses website.
I sure hope that the culprit can be tracked down and this nipped in the bud.

Just imagine what good that person could do with his/her time instead of messing with peoples websites and computers.

I don't know about this event....

But....

Many times such hacks are nothing but a protection racket scam run from overseas.

Because the internet is everywhere, the FBI is reporting more and more operators blackmailing websites. Those that don't pay protection money get hacked. Typically the first hack is a mild spanking. Total disruption is normally threatened.

That's what is driving a lot of these hack attacks. $$$$$$

Well I've checked it out....

The damage done, the effort expended lead me to think that this was a professional 'hit'.

The classic shakedown phrase: "You really should update".... Hint: spend money.

Such a phrase is atypical of a teenage hacker. A teenager says, "Gotcha!" (I'm so smart.)

This player is demonstrating by his act exactly the extent of his power and further steps that he can take: total erasure of the site's files. Again, these words of 'concern' are most unlikely to come from a teen.

It stinks.

Between Netster and this...you're on the radar.
