Here are some of the before and after shots. I thought this one was going to be simple, and liked the standard Halloween color coding, but it got a bit more exciting during the investigation!

Trying to maintain the scene for the police investigator, the serviceman was going to disconnect in the transformer, but was having trouble identifying the service lines. One of the alligator clips was barely on and it came loose shorting against the case in several spots.

The pix work fine for me. Pretty scary looking stuff, though. I kinda wonder which end this joker hooked up first - the wires under the main lugs, or the alligator clips?

I wonder what's the ampacity of a cheap little pair of alligator clips?

Dang, who did this...uncle Billy-Joe from Tennesee? (Not to impune Tenn, that was just a metaphore).
Those alligator clips...how long were they suppose to hold up to that mega-voltage?? How did this panel pass inspection....or did it even go through one? Cant imagine why they didnt hold!

These pictures were taken in Arizona by an Investigator. The theft was by someone from that area called a Thief!

Wow!,
I can't say that I've seen Alligator clips of that size used on Mains wiring.
They could have at least used more substantial clips, I would!.
