While on my honeymoon in St Thomas Virgin Isles, I came across a couple of these code violations. First picture is at a look out point for tourists. Don't lean on the rail with this weather proof installation.

And the second picture is the street lights. Virgin Islands are a US territory. They should have better inspections if any at all.

Thanks

If the wiring is that bad where it seen by everyone, can you imagine what the equipment rooms must look like?

Why were you looking at wiring on your honeymoon?
It must be the electrician in all of us.I always find myself looking at wiring, fixtures, and anything else electrical when I'm away from the house.Wife puts up with it though.
