Get a big vac!

Some of the meters seem to be hardwired type like used in Europe rather than US plug-in types.
Here in Austria I've never seen so many meters grouped together, appartment buildings usually have individual meter enclosures for each appartment (older service probably has the meter mounted on a wooden board which is screwed to the hallway wall, upgrades usually put in a PVC meter base, new wires and leave everything else as is, panel either surface mount Diazed or if upgraded a single row surface mount DIN rail panel with space for GFI and 4-6 1+N breakers, 2-3 13A lighting/power circuits, 1 16A dishwasher, 1 16A laundry, based on a ca. 1000 sq. ft area with gas range, gas heating and hot water, electric range would need a dedicated 16A 3ph circuit)
This is one of the pics I really like. It shows real life! [Linked Image]

Is this building still officially inhabited? [Linked Image] It could be the work of squatters....

Joe, was one of the sights around Atlantic City? I know that once you get away from the boardwalk, the city is a bit dismal...although from what I've seen I think people exaggerate.

Ragnar: Real life indeed, I think I see spiderwebs in there....
