I was just wondering what you guys thought about the province wide licensing that will be required in Ontario as of January 1, 2007.

I have to be honest, when I first heard of this requirement, I hated it. Being a small electrical contractor, I just saw it as another way of non-profit ESA making a bigger profit through the courses they provide, the necessary testing and registrations.

Having had some time to stew over it, I understand a little more why this may be helpfull. I just wrote my exam for the new masters license and passed. (at least I passed). I just hope this requirement will be inforced. Otherwise I just wasted ab out a $1000.00 all said and done.

Just wondering what the opinion on this subject is..... and needed to vent.
