[font:Georgia][/font]Hi everyone, I am a new member and actually pretty excited to have found this site. I want to start contracting sometime this year but I am not all too confident in my quoting. Does anyone know of any estimating spreadsheets or something of the sort I can study and get a good idea of the steps involved?? Or any tips or "how-to's" of electrical contracting? ANY help would be so much appreciated..

You might want to look at "Mike Holts Illustrated Guide Electrical Estimating" just adjust pricing accordinly for
Canada but he gives some very good points in the easy ways to keep a good profit margin without overcharging.
