This book is not strictly electrical nostalgia, but there are a lot of electrical related things in it.
It can be downloaded free as a PDF file here at Project Gutenburg.
The book is called The Boy Mechanic and was written by Popular Mechanics, it is dated 1913.
I haven't had a chance to read the whole thing.
Hope someone finds it interesting.
