My uncle forwarded these to me. Don’t know any specifics. The other question that comes to mind is…. Should the emergency personnel have fall protection on?

How in the world did that truck get there? I see the damaged barrier on the other side of theat huge drain pipe, but how did it get to the other side? You're right, whoever was driving that truck sure is lucky!

I would say he road the guard rail until his left front tire caught the 7th support post and spun him around to where now he sits. There may truck parts on top and at the mouth of the culvert.I would think the truck should be also chained to the rail while they'er down there.
cheers

I can't believe those firefighters are working on the left side of that truck without any fall protection! [Linked Image]

My first reaction was that canyon must be photoshopped in there. That's quite a drop off. But the more you look, the more real it is.

Wonder where this is at? Looks like out west somewhere like NV, AZ, or UT. I can barely see it, but I can detect a hint of yellow, purple adn blue/green on the lic plate of the truck, so AZ maybe?

It's the highway to hell....

Just don't look down.

But if you do look down, you see a big heap of other stuff that has fallen in.

Seems like those guys forgot the first rule taught to every rescuer: Don't become a victim yourself.

Just like sparkys working hot, here's another example of ego putting people in unnecessary jeapordy.
