NORCAL I don't need no stinkin' fittings, either.
Wow!,
Is that a shocker or what?!.
Talk about rough.
Ugh! How could anybody do work like this? I'd be ashamed to have anybody see it.
So an employee at the GAP tells his boss, "I can put a light up at the entrance if you give me Saturday night off."
Because please Lord don't tell me a professional did that.

I'd love to see what's at the other end!
They don't need a bender, just a coupling and about 3" more EMT.
The other end is probably an extension cord.
Just because it works, doesn't mean it's safe.

Near where this pic was taken is a university with an "Inspection Technology" program that turns out "inspectors" in nine months. Many of these students go on to jobs with towns.
I am sure this install has been seen thousands of times by these students. I wonder how many recognized that there was something wrong? I wonder if any brought it to the attention of the business, or the local AHJ?
It's a safe assumption that those who have the authority to get this fixed- either owner or AHJ- just don't care.
There's certainly enough clamps on that conduit. Must have purchased the 5 pack.....It's like the person that did this knew better but didn't have any of the proper tools...
I don't know anyone that would have the skills but lacked the tools AND would still do this... There's more to life than channellocks and hammers.
