What do you do when a hazard is caused by the AHJ's own? This is a picture on the median which is owned and maintained by one of the local cities. Christmas lights were installed and still run nightly after 9 months. Some are falling off of the trees. They're plugged into these recps without GFI protection or in-use covers. If someone was to try this privately, they would be red tagged immediately!

(Same town has brightly painted fiberglass Sheep in the median..go figure)

Man, I don't see the problem, it took the city YEARS to grow those light supports, and someone had to strategically place them just so they'd be right for the festivities. It's all in your perspective see ? Some see trees, some see "natures own" light supports. And, I may add, it is unusual to find a bureaucrat who keeps Christmas in their heart 9 months of the year !!!!!!!

The "light support" has an extension cord and a Christmas string that run to the duplex in the 1 gang box. The 2 gang box in front is a ?. There's about 1/2 mile like this w/ an eco-friendly light support every 100' or so.
I shot the pic out my truck window while waiting at a traffic signal.
