#11 looks real interesting:
  • What is that in the back of the box? Bussbars?
  • What type of conduits and connectors are those?

If I didn't know any better I'd say that is the side of a transformer.

Meyers hubs? With flex 90's...

Same with RMC to a no longer used set of busses?

The installer may have been a former plumber by the looks a pic #4 as well as some others.

Are all these pic from some piece of equipment? The busbars in the pullcan look custom designed, and a bit scary if there's no bushing or bracket to keep them off the sides of that opening! [Linked Image]

P.S. love the marvy work with the silver Krylon [Linked Image]

No 11 is freakin me out...man.
1. Home made bussing
2. Lack of proper clearance through both boxes
3. Grounded conduit right in front of the small oaked-in box.
4. that looks like a HV transformer thats been cut into.

This reminds me of some work I saw in Palm Springs on the wind farms.

Is the Greg that originally had these pics posted still among us?

Wow 4-1/2 years since this post was originally posted.

Is this part of an OEM machine or piece of equipment?
I think that some OEM shops will install the wiring any way they want and slap a UL label on it and get away without following the same installation methods that we are bound to when the wiring is field installed.

I am sure that the OEM shops dont have actual electricians doing this work.
