HAHAHAHAHA...Weatherproof!
Just out of curiosity, what are those two things with the orange/red bottoms to the left side of the post?

Good thing rain only falls straight down.

Looks to me like they might be plugs(cord caps) or some sort of cable clamp?
A friend bought the property and asked me to fix the drops "clevis attachment" before the utility co would turn service on. It turned out to be the least of their problems. When I walked inside the barn I found a massive machine shop wired in roughly the same manner. Previous owner... 95 year old genius/ pack-rat/ inventor. He wired everything himself, of course. The nearest home-depot is an hour drive thru the mountains. Materials have been very hard to come by until recent times. He got very creative with his wiring methods to say the least. New owners said that they scrapped nearly 50 antique electric motors and a several thousand worth of other copper and metal. I can barely get any work done there. All I want to do is look at the cool "junk" (as they call it) that the guy left behind.
Is this supposed to be the service entrance??

My guess is they're connectors to the photocells above them.
Look like cheap quality cord caps to me.
old farmers never die, they just spark away.
They are cord caps.
It's not the service entrance.
Well, we have the mirrors. I guess when it rains we get the smoke to go with them.....
can they see the lights when they are on.
can the owner see the light when it is dark
